  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 200g mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • Optional: chili flakes

  2. Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat; add chicken and cook until golden brown (5–7 minutes). Remove from pan.
  3. In the same pan, sauté onion and garlic until fragrant (about 1 minute). Add broccoli and mushrooms; stir-fry for 3–4 minutes until tender-crisp.
  4. Return chicken to the pan; add soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, and optional chili flakes. Stir to combine.
  5. Mix cornstarch with water and pour into the pan to thicken the sauce; cook for an additional 1–2 minutes.
