  • 1 cup chopped nuts (pecans or walnuts) (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together softened butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy. Mix in the vanilla extract.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually blend this dry mixture into the butter mixture until just combined.

  5. Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto baking sheets, spacing them about an inch apart.
