Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup heavy cream
  • 2 packs ramen noodles (fresh or dried)
  • 1 green onion, chopped (for garnish)
  • 1 teaspoon chili oil (optional, for extra heat)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix chili powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Coat the chicken evenly with the spice mixture and let it sit for 15 minutes to absorb flavors.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add vegetable oil and sear the seasoned chicken for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Once done, let it rest before slicing into strips.
  3. In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream and stir continuously until it thickens slightly. Remove from heat and set aside.
  4. Boil water in a large pot. Cook ramen noodles according to package instructions. Drain them well and set aside.
  5. In another pot, heat sesame oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until aromatic. Then pour in chicken broth along with soy sauce and heavy cream. Let it simmer for about 5-7 minutes for flavors to meld.
  6. Divide cooked ramen noodles into bowls. Ladle the spicy broth over them generously, top with sliced chicken, and drizzle with creamy garlic sauce.
  7. Sprinkle chopped green onions on top along with an optional drizzle of chili oil for added spice. Serve hot and enjoy your Fiery Chicken Ramen!
