Ingredients

Scale
  • 2½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp instant yeast
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill (chopped)
  • 1 tsp pickle juice
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese (shredded)
  • 1½ cups dill pickles (thinly sliced)
  • ¼ cup red onion (thinly sliced)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dough: Mix flour, yeast, sugar, and salt in a large bowl. Add warm water and olive oil, stirring into a shaggy dough. Knead for 5–7 minutes until smooth. Place in an oiled bowl, cover with a cloth, and let rise for about 1 hour.
  2. Make the Sauce: Whisk together sour cream and mayonnaise in another bowl. Stir in minced garlic, chopped dill, pickle juice, and black pepper. Adjust seasoning as desired and refrigerate while the dough rises.
  3. Prep Your Toppings: Pat dry pickle slices with paper towels. Slice red onion thinly and shred mozzarella if needed.
  4. Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 475°F (245°C). Roll out risen dough into a 14-inch circle on a floured surface and transfer onto your pizza pan.
  5. Assemble Pizza: Spread the garlic-dill sauce over the crust, leaving a border. Sprinkle two-thirds of the mozzarella cheese over the sauce, layer with pickles and onions, then top with remaining cheese.
  6. Bake: Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
  7. Serve: Let cool for a few minutes before slicing; garnish with fresh dill if desired.
