  • 4 ounces white cheddar cheese, shredded or sliced
  • 1 medium honey peach, pitted and sliced (or nectarines)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Fresh thyme (optional)

Instructions

  1. Gather all ingredients: slice the peach, shred the cheese, and prepare butter.
  2. Butter one side of each slice of bread generously.
  3. On the unbuttered side of one slice, layer half the cheese, then add peach slices, followed by the remaining cheese. Top with the second slice of bread (buttered side out).
  4. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the sandwich for about 4-5 minutes until golden brown and cheese begins to melt.
  5. Carefully flip using a spatula and cook for another 4-5 minutes until both sides are golden and cheese is fully melted.
